US Open 2022 schedule | Order of play today


The US Open 2022 was another terrific tennis tournament – ​​and it draws to a close with what promises to be a hugely entertaining men’s final tonight.

The match will see Spanish teenage sensation Carlos Alcaraz take on French Open runner-up Casper Ruud for the title – with the winner now guaranteed to overtake Daniil Medvedev in the ATP rankings and become the new world number one.

Alcaraz have won their last three straight matches in five sets – against Marin Cilic, Jannik Sinner and Frances Tiafoe – while Ruud beat Matteo Berrettini and Karen Khachanov to get to this stage.

Last night, world number one Iga Swiatek defeated Ons Jabeur in straight sets in the women’s final, becoming the first woman to win more than one Grand Slam in a year since Angelique Kerber in 2016.

Swiatek went 6-2, 7-6 (7-5), with Jabeur now having lost the final of the last two Grand Slams in a row, after losing to Elena Rybakina at Wimbledon. brings you the US Open 2022 order of play for today.
