The potters fall to the eagles

SALEM – The United women’s tennis team swept away the singles matches on their way to a 4-1 victory over East Liverpool at Centennial Park on Tuesday.

East Liverpool will play East Palestine today.

FIRST SINGLES: Emily McKarns (U) def. Natalia Delsaunte, 6-3, 6-4.

SECOND SINGLES: Riley Dangel (U) beat. Green help, 6-2, 6-2.

THIRD SINGLES: Hadley Brereton (U) beat. Élise Montgomery, 6-3, 6-2.

FIRST DOUBLES: Piper Richey-Emma McDevitt (U) defeats. Zita Drysdale-Dacianelle Andrews, 6-3, 6-3.

SECOND DOUBLES: Gabby Green-Jaiden Jones (EL) beats. Kaylee Pitts-Jolene Gamble, 6-3, 7-5.

Marlington 4, West Branch 1

ALLIANCE – The West Branch fell to Marlington 4-1 on Tuesday.

The western branch is 4-2 and 1-2 in the Eastern Buckeye conference. Marlington is 7-2, 3-0.

The western branch is in Canton Sud on Thursday.

FIRST SINGLES: Elizabeth Mason (M) defeated. Allison Sion, 6-0, 6-4

SECOND SINGLES: Hannah McConnell (M) beat. Linana Gabrelcik, 6-4, 6-4.

THIRD SINGLES: Andrea Dager (M) beat. LilyAnn Bonar, 6-0, 6-1.

FIRST DOUBLES: Allison Landon-Catarina Hagan (M) def. Samantha Tubbs-Sydney Fetters, 6-4, 6-2.

SECOND DOUBLES: Morgan Loudon-Kate Slutz (F) beats. Abby Best-Victoria Lane, 6-1, 7-5.
