She was tested to her limits regarding her skills and abilities on the pitch, reaching the next round of the tour after a long battle. Pliskova lost a set and a break in the second before battling to win the match 5-7, 7-5, 6-4 in two hours and 48 minutes on the court.

“It was a great fight. She played really well. Pliskova said after her match. “I’m really happy to be back here” she added. This is his 350th win on the WTA Tour. And that includes 64 victories on clay, 241 on hard courts and 43 on grass.
