The Briton isn’t sure yet who she’ll face in Abu Dhabi, but she has expressed her enthusiasm ahead of the event.
“I have never been to Abu Dhabi and I can’t wait to go and play in the championship,” she said.
“I know the UAE is celebrating its 50th anniversary at the start of December so I’m sure it’s going to be amazing there and I’m excited to experience all that the country has to offer, both at the event and culturally. “
Raducanu is then expected to fly from Abu Dhabi directly to Australia to prepare for the first Grand Slam of the new season, which begins on January 17.
All tennis players are expected to be quarantined for 14 days upon arrival in Australia, although specific conditions have not been confirmed.
