British tennis star Emma Raducanu Mighty impressed with Princess of Wales Kate Middleton carrying out her new royal role

At a state banquet, the Princess of Wales paid tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth and her mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

On the occasion of the state banquet, the Briton had shared the photo of the princess on her instagram story. At the historic State Banquet, the Princess of Wales paid tribute to the late Princess Diana. The late Queen Elizabeth’s pearl bracelet and the late Princess Diana’s South Sea pearl were gate by Middleton with her diamond and pearl tiara.

Garbine Muguruza also shared Middleton’s take on his Instagram story. At the very first state banquet hosted by King Charles III at Buckingham Palace, Middleton wore Princess Diana’s tiara. The tiara is adorned with 38 exotic pearls. Middleton has worn it several times in the past at official royal events.

After the death of Queen Elizabeth’s grandmother, the tiara was given to her in 1951. However, in 1981, on Princess Diana’s wedding day, the late Majesty presented the tiara to the bride. Prince Charles’ royal wedding saw Princess Diana forgo the Lover’s Knot tiara in favor of her own family’s Spencer tiara, but she ended up wearing it on numerous occasions. So much so that many people have considered it her go-to tiara.

Raducanu once played a tennis match with the Princess of Wales

The frenzied celebration of Raducanu’s US Open victory had once included a tennis match with Kate Middleton. The Princess of Wales welcomed Raducanu back to England after winning the US Open 2021. The two engaged in a friendly doubles match at the National Tennis Center in Rockhampton.

Lawn Tennis Association patron Middleton had also met teenagers from across the country. The goal of the program was to encourage more children of all ages, genders, abilities and backgrounds to play tennis and keep playing it.

After going through a difficult season in 2022, Raducanu is preparing to show her skills on the pitch in 2023. Can she win one of the Grand Slam tournaments next year? We will have to wait and see.
