Boise State Releases Fall Men’s Tennis Schedule, Broncos Host Dar Walters Fall Classic This Weekend
BOISE, Idaho – Boise State has released the men’s tennis schedule for this fall and an interim schedule for the spring. The Bronco Men’s Team kicks off their fall campaign this Friday when they host the annual Dar Walters Fall Classic at the Appleton Tennis Center. The tournament will feature Montana, State of Montana, State of Utah, Air Force and Idaho as well as the entire Bronco team.
The tournament runs Friday through Sunday and the consolation rounds take place on the courts at Julia Davis Park on Saturday and Sunday. Start times are tentatively scheduled for 9:00 a.m. each day, with the last matches taking place between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Once Dar Walters is finished, Boise State will be back on the road for the remainder of the fall 2021 campaign. The next stop will be the ITA Mountain Region Championships in Provo, Utah, September 20-25.
The third tournament will be the Idaho State Invitational in Pocatello, October 1-3. In addition to the ISU Invites that week, Simon Arca Costas and Kyryll Kryvchun were invited to compete in the singles at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., October 2-10.
The fall campaign will conclude with the Bulldog Invitational at Gonzaga in Spokane, Wash., From October 30 to November 30. 1.
In addition to the fall schedule release, Boise State also released a provisional spring schedule consisting of 23 games, with 11 home games against: Montana, Seattle, North Dakota, Montana State, Idaho State, Pacific, Denver, LMU, Nevada, UNLV and San Diego State. Some notable road games include: Oregon, Washington, BYU, and Utah.
